A & R Hospitality Group is looking for an Internship & Training Coordinator who can help us create a talent pipeline from our local schools and has a passion for employee development.

The Internship & Training Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Gateway Initiative Internship Program and assigning interns to various training pathways; communicating with General Managers to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for associates. Creates specialized training/curriculum for associates and interns with SMART objectives.

·       Always maintain a professional appearance.

·       Provides associates and interns with a hands-on learning experience that combines practical application, brand training, observation and mentorship.

·       Creates SMART objectives for each associate’s and intern’s personal development.

·       Collaborates with General Managers to identify high potential talent for continued development.

·       Process monthly and yearly reimbursement dollars and tax credits.

·       Builds relationships with local high schools, trade schools and colleges/universities.

·       Works with General Managers to ensure all hotels are current with required brand training.
