Internship & Training Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and
coordinating the Gateway Initiative Internship Program and assigning interns to
various training pathways; communicating with General Managers to identify
training needs and mapping out development plans for associates. Creates
specialized training/curriculum for associates and interns with SMART

Provides associates and interns with a hands-on
learning experience that combines practical application, brand training,
observation and mentorship.
Creates SMART objectives for each associate’s
and intern’s personal development.
Collaborates with General Managers to identify
high potential talent for continued development.
Process monthly and yearly reimbursement dollars
and tax credits.
Builds relationships with local high schools,
trade schools and colleges/universities.
Works with General Managers to ensure all hotels
are current with required brand training.
