Outside Sales Representative

Chesapeake Systems is looking for an Outside Sales Representative that can jump in and hit the ground running.

Chesapeake Systems is a well-established HVAC/Mechanical manufacturer's representative for the Mid-Atlantic region. We offer innovative service and product solutions to support the needs of engineers, contractors, wholesalers, and building owners. Chesapeake Systems focuses on various market segments, including commercial HVAC, PVF/plumbing, hydronic heating, industrial, and service

In this role, you will:

  • Quickly move prospects through the sales process by delivering outstanding consultative, sales, and customer experience.
  • Qualify prospects within assigned sales territory and build a consistent pipeline to meet sales goals.
  • Update sales and customers databases with current information.
  • Maintain and create great relationships with clients and be a trusted source of information.
  • Attend team meetings and training workshops to be up to date on all latest industry updates and be able to educate customers and select the best equipment for the project (based on project and market intel).
  • Travel with factory employees to sites to build more business and maintain prior relationships


Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but High School diploma required
  • 2-5 years of related sales experience
  • Commercial or industrial sales experience is a plus
