This position assists mechanics in the preservation, protection, and repair of district vehicles and equipment, which can include assignments in the body shop repair, vehicle, and equipment maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist mechanics in the repair shop and body shop projects
- Clean vehicles and equipment
- Participate in the preparation of annual equipment auction
- Perform other duties as required
Education and Experience Required
Additional Information: Must be 18 years or older before the first day of work.
Hours: Mid May - Mid August; Monday-Friday
Special training or other licenses, certification, etc.; Valid Driver's License
Skills In: Operation of power tools and motor vehicles; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships; and prioritizing of tasks.
