Internal Communications Senior Specialist

As the Internal Communications Senior Specialist, you will work to engage, inform and excite the Vertava Health team members.
Priority responsibilities include:
Contribute to writing, editing, and distribution of content across diverse channels including intranet, email, newsletters, recruitment sites, live events, digital signage, etc.
Utilizes Vertava Health’s internal communication channel (Salesforce Chatter) to drive engagement
Interact and engage with team members to help brainstorm innovative ways of communicating across the organization
Draft messages or scripts from Senior Leaders for presentations or emails to team members
Design internal campaigns and articles for internal communication channels
Assist with analysis and reporting of internal campaign efforts
Create/update PowerPoint presentations and internal communication guides, toolkits, and other resources
Assist with internal communication metric collection and evaluation (including benchmarking and goal setting)
Collaborate with the Vertava Health Marketing function on internal and external campaigns
Manage day-to-day team member engagement projects to drive team member engagement and foster a high-performance culture within a transformational organization
Lead our external team member branding initiative
Assist in crisis communication
Strategically plan and then develop content for team member engagement programs that foster community and inclusion at all levels
Lead team member engagement events
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related fields
4+ years of experience in Corporate Communication/Engagement
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address all levels within Vertava Health– experience with editing/proofreading is a plus!
Strong project management skills with attention to detail
Positive attitude, proactive mentality, responsive and strong work ethic
Ability to think critically and “outside of the box”
Agility, adaptability, and innovation are must haves
Ability to work with aggressive timelines
Fluency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Ability to use hands and fingers, talk or hear
Ability to sit, stand, walk and reach continually. Ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch frequently
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Close vision required to see computer monitor, read documents, and operate copy and fax machine
Work environment is indoors and climate controlled. Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions
