Activities Director Wanted at Transitions Healthcare

Do you love creating moments that make people smile? Transitions Healthcare is looking for an Activities Director to lead our activity and volunteer programs and help our residents live full, engaging lives.

Working with our Administrator, you’ll shape the rhythm of daily life in our community, from group events to one-on-one connections that make a real difference.

What you’ll do:

• Plan, organize, and run activities that support our residents’ social, emotional, physical, and therapeutic needs
• Hire, train, and support a strong activities team
• Keep the department stocked with the supplies it needs
• Coordinate and support Resident Council
• Oversee the day-to-day management of the department

What you’ll bring:

• Qualification as a therapeutic recreation specialist
• At least 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years, including 1 year full-time in a patient activities program in a healthcare setting
