Leader, Marketing Group
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced and entrepreneurial-minded marketing professional to join our talented team in the role of Leader, Marketing Group. This is a fully remote position, open to candidates anywhere in Canada; however, preference will be given to those located in Winnipeg.
The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO and work closely with other senior team leaders.
They will be responsible for leading and mentoring a small, collaborative team of experienced marketing professionals.
Specific duties would include, but not be limited to:
Successful lead generation through a variety of channels, including content marketing, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and paid advertising.
Tracking and analyzing results of campaigns in alignment with our targets and strategic marketing plan.
Ensuring cohesion throughout all marketing activities and messaging across our various brands.
Imagining, overseeing, and actively participating in the creation of compelling marketing and sales support assets including video, ad copy, graphics, etc.
Collaborating with our sales team to provide them with supportive tools and resources.
Mentoring other marketing team members.
You have a B.Comm degree, or equivalent experience and education.
You have 5+ years working directly in the field of marketing, and have a proven track-record of success in a B2B environment (ideally in SaaS).
You have previous experience leading a team.
Your leadership style is positive and empathetic — one that values institutional knowledge, invites input from experienced team members, and fosters trust by listening before leading.
You have experience in building marketing plans for various brands and channels, and reporting on the results.
You are skilled at building strong relationships across departments, including executive leadership, to help align marketing efforts with broader business goals.
You’re naturally competitive and are comfortable quickly pivoting strategies when necessary to see results.
You possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, and use a data-driven approach to marketing to move prospects from awareness to close.
You are proficient at integrating AI powered tools and workflows into business processes to accelerate outcomes.
You have experience with, and a strong knowledge of, social media and SEO for business.
You have hands-on experience with modern marketing tech stacks (Hubspot, Webflow, Google Ads, Google Analytics, etc.)
Your proficiency in creating video assets would be considered an asset.
