Full Time Caterer/Bartender

Server/Bartending Opportunities

AVERAGE $20-$25 per hour with bonuses and gratuities

Nelson’s Catering is currently hiring caterers and bartenders to set up & serve at private parties, receptions and  banquets throughout Central IL.   

Join our team of friendly, energetic service professionals. We offer highly competitive hourly wage plus tips and bonus program.

Please note:  all bartenders are cross trained to serve meals. 

Applicants can apply for catering or both catering and bartending.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving/Criminal Record

• Weekend and Late Night Availability –Saturdays are Required

• Neat and Professional Appearance, Positive Attitude

• Serve Safe Certification and or Basset Certification Before First Shift 

• Experience in Full Service Hospitality Preferred 

• Outgoing Personality, Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills

• Ability to Read and Execute Detailed Nelson’s Event Instructions

• Accurate Money Handling and Inventory Reporting Skills

• Ability to Lift and Carry 50 lbs. Repeatedly, Unload and Load Full Sized Vans

• Open to Cross Training Opportunities and Able to Assist Bar or Catering Team as Needed
