Financial Analyst
This role is to support the Accounting and Finance team of Kohanaiki, reporting directly to the Director of Finance. The Accounting and Finance team oversees the financial reporting of real estate development, as well as the operations of a private club, a fractional membership program to said private club, and a homeowner’s association.
· In coordination with the Director of Finance, maintain, update, and improve the primary financial model used as guidance in managing the major business decisions of the project. This includes validating assumptions through market research.
· Provide support though analysis in managing global program for the project including insurance and tax programs.
· Coordinate the creation of annual budgets across all departments/companies. Work with Division Directors monthly to analyze financial results and provide insight, for those who require it, into how they can achieve their targets.
· Develop and maintain relationships with the respective Division Directors to foster healthy and regular communication.
· Build financial models and perform sensitivity analysis on strategic projects in collaboration with the respective Division Directors and Director of Finance.
· Drive the access and use of reporting across various platforms including, but not limited to, PowerBI and Smartsheets.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other applicable lines of study.
· Real estate and/or hospitality experience preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft office; elevated proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
