McGee’s 72 is hiring an entry‑level Pantry Line Cook to run our cold station and help execute our signature salads, appetizers, and lunch features with consistency and speed.
If you’re reliable, coachable, and willing to learn, we’ll teach you our McGee’s 72 standards, systems, and menu.

 

About McGee’s 72:

McGee’s 72 is an upscale‑casual neighborhood restaurant known for approachable, chef‑driven food and genuine hospitality.
Our kitchen culture is professional but down‑to‑earth: we care about clean stations, consistent execution, and taking care of each other during a busy service.

 

What You’ll Do:

    Follow McGee’s 72 recipes, specs, and plating standards so every salad, appetizer, and lunch feature looks and tastes the same, every time.

    Set up, run, and break down your cold station, keeping it stocked, clean, labeled, and organized throughout service.

    Execute tickets quickly and accurately so items from your station are ready on time for the rest of the line.

    Communicate clearly with supervisors, expo, and fellow line cooks to keep the line moving smoothly during busy shifts.

    Take direction and constructive feedback from supervisors and use it to improve your speed and consistency every week.

 

Who You Are:

    Entry level or early in your kitchen career; experience is not required, but any prior kitchen or pantry experience is a plus.

    Coachable, with a strong work ethic and a real interest in learning how an upscale‑casual kitchen operates.

    Focused on details and consistency, able to follow recipes, specs, and plating diagrams closely.

    Able to stay calm, move with urgency, and keep your station organized when the pace picks up.

    A team player who listens well, accepts critique without ego, and wants to grow with McGee’s 72.

 

Schedule & Growth:

    Full‑time role at McGee’s 72: 5 days per week, approximately 40 hours.

    We provide hands‑on training on our menu, recipes, pantry systems, and standards for motivated, entry‑level candidates.

    As you build consistency and speed on pantry, you’ll have opportunities to learn additional stations and advance within the McGee’s 72 kitchen.
