Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities
As an LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care while working closely with Registered Nurses, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities include:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring residents for therapeutic effectiveness and adverse reactions.
- Obtain and accurately record vital signs and other clinical observations.
- Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions, reporting changes promptly to Registered Nurses and physicians.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized resident care plans.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.
- Supervise and collaborate with Certified Nursing Assistants to ensure exceptional resident care.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in resident condition.
- Follow facility policies, state and federal regulations, and infection prevention standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Previous long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care.
Sign-On Bonus Eligibility
The $5,500 sign-on bonus is available to eligible new full-time hires only who are hired by October 31, 2026. Bi-weekly bonus payments begin following completion of required orientation shifts and are subject to applicable program terms and eligibility requirements.
