Medical Dental Unit Operations Manager


The Brentwood Baptist Medical Dental Unit Operations Manager is responsible to the church, under the direction of the Medical Dental Unit Coordinator for serving all Brentwood Baptist campuses in support of the church wide mission, vision, and objectives. Key duties will include overseeing the operation and maintenance of the Medical Dental Unit (MDU) truck and equipment, training operations personnel, record/statistics keeping, and regulation compliance for the truck and equipment.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to the following:

·       Lead driver of the MDU and trains and coordinates the schedule of all back-up drivers

·       Manages all MDU related maintenance and repairs

·       Responsible for vehicle registration, researching and following all state and DOT regulations

·       Maintenance, repairs, and cleaning of the MDU storage facility

·       Manages all dental supplies, including inventory, ordering, and stocking before and after each MDU event

·       Oversees all MDU and portable dental equipment, including set-up, cleaning, maintenance, repairs, and training of volunteers on proper usage and cleaning

·       Responsible for gathering and reporting all patient and ministry statistics to MDU Coordinator

·       Oversees all medical and dental patient data entry into MDU computers

·       Adheres to all policies and responsibilities pertaining to the MDU usage

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

·       Assist the MDU Coordinator in volunteer recruiting as needed

·       Assist MDU Coordinator with any other tasks as needed

·       Attend all required staff meetings and complete forms and reports in a timely and concise manner

·       Must have flexibility to accept and execute other duties as assigned

·       Licensed and experienced CDL driver, experience with maintenance and upkeep of large RV style truck and dental equipment preferred.
