National Sales Rep
This position is primarily responsible for business development in conjunction with the sales team by helping with establishing strategic sales and marketing plans and goals and leading staff to meet company objectives for growth and high-quality client services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Sales, Marketing & Business Development 75%
Assists in the planning for future business, including identification and analysis of new projects, estimation of resource requirements, and subsequent proposal efforts
Research and identify potential new clients for the business development and sales plan to increase
business
Participate in senior sales team meetings
Provide periodic reports to the SVP, Sales including sales leads, new jobs, and weekly billing
Cold call as appropriate to client contact structure and explore business opportunities
Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging the client's network
Research and build relationships with new clients
Manage assigned client account responsibilities
Conduct routine meetings with clients and new clients to build relationships while presenting an image that mirrors that of our clients (i.e .ideology, presentation style, dress code, templates, etc.)
Assist with the management of all “exposures” to new and existing clients under the sales and
marketing plan and client database & CRM; tracking system
Participate in the development, management, and distribution of marketing materials
Work with technical staff members to ensure client’s needs are being met
Attend industry conferences and related functions to identify new client opportunities, and help maintain
existing clients and to gain knowledge of industry trends and developments
Coordinate with department managers and provide direction when needed to meet client expectations and delivery
Provides work guidance, direction, and leadership for project team members
Develops, implements, and enforces policies and procedures of the designated area of responsibility by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company’s relationship with the client
Coordinate with the project team to ensure timeliness and quality of all service products and adherence to client SOWs
Coordinates office assistance with office manager as required for report production and timely billing of completed projects
Participates in weekly calls (and additional calls as needed) with SVP, Sales, and other C-suite and
Management staff and completes trips to the Buffalo Corporate office on an as-needed basis
Maintains relationships with new and existing clients
Maintains professional certifications and training, where applicable
Responds to clients and co-workers in a timely manner (within 2 hours per Policy) and emphasize responsiveness to staff
Provide timely and accurate reports to indicate performance and keeps contact with customers to
determine her evaluation of accomplishments and identify potential follow-up work
Dissemination of regulatory updates, guidelines, and clarification notices to senior management and staff.
Analysis 10%
Develop proposals as requested
Responsible for developing various education and training programs
Monitors performance, addresses concerns, conducts evaluations, and corrects any performance
deficiencies with assigned clients
Tracks issues for problem projects and general operations and communicates the issue internally
Responds to clients and co-workers in a timely manner (within 2 hours per LCS Policy) and emphasize responsiveness to staff
Leadership 10%
Required to exercise independent judgment and discretion within your area of specialized expertise to provide high-quality services
Participate in the development of the sale and marketing department’s plans and programs as a strategic partner
Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, the introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action
Responds to clients and co-workers in a timely manner (within 2 hours per LCS Policy) and emphasize responsiveness to staff
Assist in the enhancement and/or development, implementation, and help enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall effectiveness of the company
Other duties as requested by supervisor 5%
