New Hope Mills, located in Auburn, NY, and home to our well-known pancake mixes and our growing Store and Café, seeks an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous B2B sales experience, be a self-starter, competitive, driven, articulate, thoughtful and have experience with CRM software. Your duties will be to :
- Develop and execute sales plans by utilizing marketing strategies, account penetration, sales process management and marketing support materials.
- Maintain knowledge of all our Products, industry trends, competitive product lines.
- Develop relationships with prospective and current customers. Identify new business opportunities through research, cold calling, and continually develop pipeline for new business.
- Acts as customer contact during new product realization. Answers customer questions and assists marketing with operations when needed.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Make outbound sales calls for the purpose of converting, penetrating or retaining existing and new accounts.
- Complete daily or weekly sales reports as assigned.
- Assist in collecting updated information on accounts (contact names, phone #s, emails, etc.) and database management.
HS diploma or equivalent is required; AAS in business or related field is preferred. 1-3 years prior experience in sales. Must have excellent computer skills as well as phone skills. Must be organized and have excellent follow-up skills. We offer a competitive hourly rate plus benefits. This position is FT, Monday through Friday. NYS Drivers license is required as you may be required to travel to customer sites on an occasion. We are a substance free work environment. EOE
