Automotive Yard Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in releasing vehicles to customers and transport personnel
• Wash and maintain company trucks and vehicles
• Pick up and transport automotive parts as needed
• Move and position vehicles safely throughout the yard
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Assist customers with parts and general inquiries
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions
• Ability to stand for extended periods (8–10 hour shifts)
• Ability to bend, squat, climb, lift moderate-weight items, and perform physical labor
• Comfortable using two-way radios and/or cellphones for communication
• Ability to safely operate machinery and equipment
• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully
• Previous automotive, equipment, or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Reliable transportation required
• Valid driver’s license preferred
