Our Vision:
Cobalt Management Services LLC provides back-office administrative services for over 600 charitable projects worldwide. Our clients are either part of a Fiscal Sponsorship (a nonprofit organization that lends its tax-exempt 501(c)(3) status to select projects engaged in charitable activities to support their qualified mission(s)), or an individual 501(c)(3) entity. Cobalt oversees financial and administrative matters, which ensures best practices in compliance. More importantly, this allows the non-profits to avoid the hassles of running their own standalone nonprofit.
The Role:
Cobalt Management Services LLC seeks a professional Accounting Associate to expand the Players Philanthropy Fund (PPF) Accounting Department and capacity to service the financial needs of over 600 clients. You will represent the nonprofit organization and must provide exceptional customer service and attention to detail. You will play a vital part in reaching our accounting goals and upholding the excellent reputation of Cobalt and our additional organization, PPF, the nation’s leading provider of fiscal sponsorship.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Open bank accounts for new projects with our banking partner.

Communicate with clients (advisors).

Facilitate third-party platform setup and closures.

Post deposits and expenses to our accounting system.

Reconcile and review bank accounts on a monthly basis.

Handle accounts payable.

Manage CRM Management for the Accounting Department via Salesforce.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required.

Accounting/bookkeeping experience is preferred.

1 year in nonprofit work is preferred.

Strong attention to detail.

Thrives in deadline-oriented environments.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Highly motivated, with exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) and Google Apps (Sheets, Docs, Slides).

Accounting software experience is preferred.

Familiarity with Sage Intacct

Experience with data management platforms is a plus.

Familiarity with Salesforce
