Key responsibilities

• Deliver warm, efficient, and memorable service to guests of all ages, consistently exceeding expectations at every table.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings, confidently guiding guests through the menu and upselling items.
• Manage multiple tables simultaneously with accuracy, using our POS system to enter and track orders with ease.
• Process all payment types accurately, including cash, card, and split transactions.
• Verify guest identification and serve alcohol responsibly in full compliance with TIPS guidelines; escalate to management as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready dining room throughout the shift, including side-work, table resets, and end-of-shift duties.
• Uphold Libbey's standards of personal presentation, professionalism, and hygiene at all times.
• Perform the physical demands of the role, including standing for full shifts, frequent hand-washing, and safely lifting up to 35 lbs.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequent reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, and clearing tables.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Strong manual dexterity for serving, carrying trays, and operating POS systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Visual and auditory ability necessary to safely perform service duties.

Work Environment

• Restaurant and bar environment with moderate to high activity levels.
• Fast-paced service periods with elevated noise levels.
• Exposure to common restaurant hazards including hot surfaces, sharp tools, and wet floors.
• Frequent handwashing and adherence to sanitation standards required.
