CACFP Program Specialist
Job Summary
Easter Seals West Georgia, Inc. is a private non-profit organization. We provide high quality comprehensive therapeutic care that ensures innovative interventions and activities for people with disabilities. We are looking for a highly qualified candidate to work within the Administrative team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Coordinate and conduct all activities related to monitoring functions of the Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
· Ensure all activities and functions are in compliance with CACFP program guidelines.
· Monitor program budget to ensure that program approvals are followed.
· Maintain accurate records of program participants, meals, and attendance.
· Ensure completion of daily food counts including verifying attendance, entering data into systems, and preparing reimbursement paperwork.
· Ensure claims reports are completed monthly.
· Ensure monitoring audits are conducted quarterly.
· Assists with training child & adult care staff on CACFP guidelines, meal patterns, and program regulations.
· Monitor program to ensure compliance with CACFP regulations and provide feedback to the supervisor and Directors.
· Assists with CACFP program audits and evaluations.
· Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or G.E.D., advanced business training or equivalent experience.
· One year of clerical and/or program management experience.
· Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service.
· Must have excellent interpersonal, and communication skills.
· Proficient computer and organizational skills.
· Ability to operate general office equipment.
· Strong attention to detail.
