We are seeking an enthusiastic 3rd Grade Teacher to guide our students on their next exciting learning journey while helping them strengthen their relationship with God.

      Inspire and Educate: Deliver engaging, standards-based lessons in all core subjects, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning.

      Integrate Faith Daily: Weave Catholic values into instruction and model Christ-centered living, nurturing virtue and moral development.

      Collaborate for Success: Partner closely with colleagues, parents, and—if assigned—a classroom assistant to provide personalized attention to every student.

      Create a Joyful Environment: Maintain a respectful, well-managed classroom where every child feels valued and supported.

      Celebrate Individual Gifts: Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning styles and needs.

      Strengthen Family Faith: Engage families as partners in the mission of Christian formation, reflecting our belief that through our children, we strengthen the faith of our St. Gregory families.

What You Bring

      Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (or related field)

      Valid Louisiana teaching certification (or willingness to work toward obtaining one)

      Experience teaching elementary students—3rd grade preferred

      Commitment to Catholic education and willingness to integrate faith into teaching

      Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for children

      Strong classroom management and communication skills
