Location Manager (Restaurant)
Job Description:
CONRAD’S Eat Drink Local is looking for a Location Manager. Location Manager is responsible for managing daily operations, meeting or exceeding budgeted labor and other cost centers, as well as overseeing the inventory and ordering. In addition, the Location Manager ensures excellence in guest satisfaction through effective training of staff, commitment to a "Do Whatever It Takes" attitude, and a hands-on, leading by example management style. Direct and lead staff. Hold people accountable and do it in a respectful and productive manner. The ideal candidate has experience in kitchen leadership and understands the complexities of the kitchen to guest experience.
Responsibilities:
B.O.H. Activities
· Verify operations and quality standards follow departmental standards.
· Oversee staff to ensure compliance with established sanitation practices.
· Participate in training and developing staff in BOH
· Review operational activities with Senior Management and Managers.
· Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other BOH workers.
· Manage closing procedures throughout kitchen
· Shift Coverage / Shift Leadership
· Product Organization and Management: Ordering & Inventory
Expedite And Facilitate Food from Kitchen to Guests
· Ensure that standards of each dish are met
· Manage all refires or calls to kitchen
· Manage food running and to go staff
Getting Need to Know Information into Our Staff’s Hands
· Beer lists updated (Co-Op with Senior Management/Managers)
· Item out updated in system
· Line-up sheets done
· Be involved in both line-ups. (One for volumes and one for closers/later volumes)
Shift Coverage
· Be on floor managing / Be mindful of shift change and time prior to
· 3pm Rule
· Service Management
Perfect Closes. Thorough Walk Throughs of Facility (FOH & BOH)
· Hold staff accountable
· Keep staff on task/Get them closing, off the clock, and out the door.
Follow Up on Weekly & Daily Cleaning Schedules
· Delegate and walk through, every shift – every day
· Cleaning Daily & Weekly
Keep Operation Organized
· FOH & BOH Organization
Events: Involvement & Organization
· Understand the process & production
· Help facilitate if needed
· Follow direction from Senior Management
Schedules
· Involvement with FOH/BOH scheduling / RTO’s / Shift Changes
Compensation:
We ask our managers to work a 5 day a week schedule. We are big believers in work-life balance. We know that this is not normal in our industry. However, we feel that it is important for us to have proper time off to help us be more productive while at work. Total compensation is between $52-60K a year, based on the candidate’s experience. We offer 6 days of PTO, as well as, medical, dental and vision insurance.
