Primary Care Physician

Priority responsibilities include:

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient care for a panel of adult patients

  • Perform appropriate physical exams, create patient care plans, order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests

  • Serve as a provider who is highly skilled in the management of a patient's primary care needs or sub specialty evaluation and treatment

  • Responsible to contribute to the achievement of quality of care standards, efficiency, process improvement and patient satisfaction

  • Prescribe medications and provide consultation to specialty services

  • Act as a patient resource for ongoing health education and information

  • The incumbent is expected to practice in accordance with professional standards, values, and with a commitment to service excellence

  • Clinical Precepting for mid-Level practitioners

  • Degree from an accredited institution in Doctorate of Medicine or Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine

  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Ohio

  • Prior experience serving patients in a mental or behavioral health setting strongly preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the company, including senior executives

  • Proficient and independent with technical (computer/word processing) skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize

Physical Requirements: 


  • Ability to use hands and fingers, talk or hear

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk and reach continually. Ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch frequently

  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds

  • Close vision required to see computer monitor, read documents, and operate copy and fax machine

  • Work environment is indoors and climate controlled. Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions
