The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Technician(s)maintaining the public facilities on property and residential homes. They will alsomaintain maintenance schedules (daily, monthly and yearly) and conduct preventive maintenance set by the Facilities Manager and Chief Maintenance Manager on all equipment/ facilities to ensure company standards are met.
Work directly with the Chief Maintenance Manager to plan daily work assignments for the maintenance team.
Maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing equipment.
Perform repair work, construction, and renovation work.
Contribute to improving function and reliability of facility equipment and facilities through preventative maintenance and reports.
Continuously work with the Chief Maintenance Manager to identify areas of improvement within the department.
Assist the Chief Maintenance Manager with establishing the department priorities.
Evaluate equipment and draft appropriate maintenance plans in coordination with the Chief Maintenance Manager.
Uphold all standard operating procedures put in place by the Chief Maintenance Manager and Facilities Manager.
Maintaining and troubleshooting the building and equipment associated with rental units, club facilities and public spaces.
Ensure the work of the Maintenance Technicians) is done correctly and in a timely manner.
Prioritize work orders and complete tasks accordingly.
Assist with department hiring and training as needed.
Work with outside contractors, as directed.
Must follow all safety regulations to provide a safer work environment.
Perform all duties as assigned of the senior management team, as deemed appropriate.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have good knowledge and skills of construction trades including electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, locksmith, and carpentry.
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experiences in a construction or maintenance field or relevant experience preferably in a hotel/ resort operation.
Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Must be dependable and available to work within the property on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-makingability and attention to detail.
The ability to interact with Associates and guest alike, in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism.
Drivers license and clean driving record required. \
