TID Sales Development Specialist
DATAMARS, a leading global supplier of integrated product solutions in livestock management, animal health delivery, pet identification and reunification and textile identification, is seeking an experienced SALES BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST for our Textile Identification business.
This remote position should ideally be ln the Eastern region of the United States and reports directly to the North American Sales Director.

JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Business Development Specialist will drive sales and promotion of DATAMARS Textile Identification products by maximizing direct and distribution channel opportunities within the RFID industrial laundry market. This role requires a strong understanding of customer use cases, product requirements, and competitive dynamics to support solution-based selling. The position will also contribute to identifying and prioritizing product enhancements and new development opportunities, while building and nurturing a partner network to support growth and expand overall market share
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Drive aggressive new business development by proactively prospecting, building pipeline, and consistently closing new opportunities.
· Grow product revenue within the textile marketplace by developing and expanding direct customer relationships.
· Gather, synthesize, and communicate deep insights into customer needs and requirements.
· Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, including key threats and opportunities.
· Train, motivate, and enable partners to effectively represent and sell DATAMARS products and solutions.
· Successfully sell products to targeted accounts; consistently meet or exceed monthly unit and revenue goals.
· Initiate, manage, and track sales activities and pipeline progression.
KEY SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Strong leadership and consensus building skills
- Proven ability to sell at executive level
- Proven ability to implement and manage multiple ongoing sales initiatives
- Excellent writing, organization, and communication skills
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, including evenings and weekends as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
· Minimum of five (5) years of successful territory sales experience in the industrial laundry marketplace or a related industry
· Demonstrated technical sales experience in industrial solutions required
· Proven track record of success in prospecting and lead generation required
· Experience or knowledge of the textile/industrial laundry industry or a related field preferred
· Demonstrated territory management and business development experience
· CRM experience required
