Job Description:
The Food & Festivities Catering Coordinator is responsible for driving catering sales, coordinating event logistics, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This is a base pay + commission position, allowing you to earn more as you grow catering sales and deliver outstanding results for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Relations:

  • Engage with clients to understand their catering needs and present customized menu solutions.
  • Drive catering sales by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, including corporate events, weddings, and private parties.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction from initial inquiry to event completion.

Event Planning & Coordination:

  • Coordinate all event details, including menu selections, staffing, delivery, and setup.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth execution of catering orders.
  • Create detailed event timelines and ensure all team members are aligned.

Logistics Management:

  • Oversee catering equipment, transportation, and on-site setup to ensure events run flawlessly.
  • Maintain accurate records of all catering orders, payments, and client interactions.
  • Monitor inventory for catering supplies and place orders as needed.

Menu Expertise:

  • Be a knowledgeable resource for clients, explaining menu options, portion sizes, and customization possibilities.
  • Assist with developing seasonal or special catering menus to keep offerings fresh and exciting.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in catering sales, event planning, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food service and catering operations (BBQ experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency in CRM software and basic office tools.
