MARKETING MANAGER/ENROLLMENT COORDINATOR

SUMMARY OF JOB:

The Coordinator plans and executes a variety of projects updating social media sites, maintaining website, google analytics, assisting with events and projects, customer relations, assist with office duties and sponsorships.  Manage, oversee, and perform a variety communication activities, including, but not limited to, overseeing newsletters and customer service. Assist in producing materials such as camp brochures and outdoor school brochures. Assist in coordinating and implementing events. Assist in summer camp enrollment process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Effectively communicate with a diverse group of clients, parents of campers, teachers, and staff
  2. Utilize computer programs/software to maintain, plan and keep current website, social media platforms and newsletters.
  3. Write, design, and maintain communications materials such as newsletters, email campaigns, social media, collateral, public relations materials, presentations and website.
  4. Conduct, analyze, and present research on marketing and brand awareness
  5. Assist Director of Development with Sponsorships, Donor Engagement and Event Preparation
  6. Assist in office with mailings and registrations as well as answering phones, when needed
  7. Provides assistance to Enrollment Manager for Summer Camper applicants
  8. Assist Outreach Coordinator and/or Camp Director on opening day of each session with various activities/tasks as needed. 
  9. Assist Enrollment Manager and/or Camp Director with all staff materials for summer as well as outdoor school programming.
  10. Assist Camp Director, Enrollment Manager, and/or Executive Director with collection of summer camp parents and camper data as needed.

 Requirement

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills with team, stakeholders, vendors, and senior executives
  • Customer-focused team player.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, Google, Word Press, etc. or similar programs/tools
  • Demonstrate a strong command of Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint  
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Pleasant and cordial manner.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Possess a high degree of initiative and proactivity.
  • Ability to maintain neat and orderly records.     
  • Ability to respect deadlines.
  • Successfully obtain state and local child clearance.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.  This position will also be required to periodically perform duties outdoors in a summer camp for children setting.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and general hours of work and days are 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday; however, this position may require extended hours during the summer camp session and during community events and fundraising events.
