Job Title: Breakfast Attendant

Reports To: Breakfast Supervisor / Hotel Manager

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for providing a welcoming, clean, and well-stocked breakfast experience for hotel guests in accordance with IHG brand standards. This role focuses on food preparation, presentation, cleanliness, and exceptional guest service.

• Set up and prepare the breakfast area before service hours

• Prepare and replenish breakfast items (hot and cold) according to IHG brand standards

• Ensure food quality, freshness, and proper presentation at all times

• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, kitchen, and storage areas

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures

• Greet guests warmly and assist with questions or special requests

• Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed

• Break down and clean breakfast area after service

• Report maintenance or safety issues to management promptly

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous food service or hospitality experience a plus

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs

• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Standing and walking for long periods

• Lifting, carrying, and bending as needed

• Working in a kitchen environment with hot equipment

• Fast-paced hotel breakfast service area

• Early morning hours (5:30a-10a)
