This position will monitor and maintain building equipment and structures. The essential functions of the position include:

  • Troubleshoots equipment using proper tools in a skilled craftsman-like manner.
  • Performs assignments as directed
  • Assumes the duties of other mechanics when required, including light carpentry, HVAC, heating, plumbing, grounds maintenance, etc.
  • Handles routine calls. Completes paperwork.
  • Informs Admin of all work performed.
  • Makes daily rounds of property to ensure smooth operation of all equipment Repairs malfunctioning mechanic devices This position works within a team environment.

Requirements

  • This position requires a thorough knowledge of a specialized or technical field. May compile objective or measurable data and produce reports. May require operating knowledge of manufacturing or computer equipment.
  • The ideal applicant will have a highschool diploma and a minimum of one year job-related experience.

  •  The workload required to perform this job requires the ability to adapt to change Significant portions of daily assignments involve application of manual skills requiring motor coordination in combination with finger, e.g. typing, handwriting, or machine operations.
  • Significant portions of daily assignments involve prolonged standing, transporting material or equipment, lifting or moving, or carrying heavy (over 30 pounds) materials for intermittent periods throughout the day Significant portions of daily assignments involve exposure to dirt, odors, noise, temperature/weather extremes. Working surfaces may be unlevel, slippery, or unstable.
  • Work regularly requires or varies between the day, evening, night, holiday, or weekend assignments. Schedule varies according to business demands and needs.
  • Significant portions of daily assignments involve occupational risk, such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, injuries from falls, or back injury sustained with assisting with moving, lifting or positioning equipment or materials.
  • Significant portions of daily assignments involve ergonomic risk, such regular repetitive tasks, forceful pr prolonged exertions of the hands, vibration, cold temperatures, heavy lifting, pulling, pushing, or carrying of heavy objects, poor body mechanics, restrictive workstations, or awkward postures.
  • Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures Requires travel to other locations within the resort This position requires a valid driver's license at the time of hire.
