ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR- FULL TIME

·         This working supervisor position oversees the housekeeping and laundry departments and staff, including hiring, scheduling and evaluating, as well as provides training; educates staff on proper handling of hazardous and infectious materials to ensure proper completion of work and adherence to safety standards; manages the department budget including participation in establishing the annual budget; performs annual department inventory; purchases and maintains adequate supply of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

·         Maintains a safe, clean, and odor free environment for elders and staff.

·         Ensures that elders clothing are washed, dried and returned to them.

·         Attends meetings, conferences, and seminars, as assigned

·         Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.

·         Must be able to work together with the other department heads.

·         Maintains confidentiality as appropriate; Complies with all Corporate Compliance Policies and the Code of Ethics.
