Customer Service Order Processor
Employee-Owned Premier Countertop Manufacturer is seeking a customer service order processor. This position is responsible for processing orders, setting up customer files, requesting missing information, filing, making/receiving phone calls, responding to customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner, following up on job orders and confirming details, and assisting with scheduling. Provide excellent customer service by utilizing in-depth knowledge of company products, services and or product specifications. On-the-job training for the company products is provided.
Job Requirements
- Process Purchase orders received, setting up customer files, and request missing information.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, mail, fax and showroom visits. Receive and input orders into computer system.
- Interface with production staff to discuss customer requirements and or product specifications.
- Review customer specifications, layouts, and product dimensions.
- Interface with CAD for product specifications and to provide required information.
- Perform related duties as required to meet department and or company objectives.
Skills Required
- Computer Literate (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Basic math skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
- Maintain a professional and helpful manner for in-person, phone, and written correspondence.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to send/receive email messages, post information to a database or spreadsheet, and perform basic word processing and/or data entry.
- Flexibility to meet the demands of a growing fast-paced business.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2-3 years' experience in an office setting preferred.

This position is Monday through Friday,
