Averill Hospitality is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to work with our team.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE: 

Completes administrative duties for the human resources department. Support the HR Team with administrative support, onboarding/training, staff communication and interim recruitment efforts.

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
  • Liaise with other departments or functions
  • Assist in recruiting efforts
  • Assist in employee relations activities
  • Attend appropriate meetings
  • Assists HR Team with all administrative tasks as needed

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY

  • Effective administration and people management skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate and cooperate with other departments
  • Strong ability in using HRIS systems and MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, etc.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform effectively in high-stress environments, adapt quickly to unexpected changes, and manage demanding workloads while maintaining composure, focus, and professionalism.


SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS

 

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the Human Resource Manager based upon the particular requirements of the company.

 

  • Participate in industry organizations.
  • Maintain an open line of communication between guests, employees, and management
  • .Assist in any other duties as needed. This position may be required to perform other and additional duties assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
