Kitchen Steward- Full-Time
Reports to: Executive Steward
Supervises: No supervisory duties are included in this position.
Education and/or Experience
â€¢ High School diploma or GED.
Core Competencies and Expectations
â€¢ Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals.
â€¢ Work in compliance with applicable OSHA regulations and clubâ€™s health and safety policies and procedures.
â€¢ Ensure that kitchen and/or work area is kept clean and tidy.
â€¢ Report all accidents, illnesses or â€œnear-missâ€ incidents immediately to manager on duty or supervisor.
â€¢ Attention to detail by making sure all pots and cook ware are thoroughly clean and work tasks are completed in full.
â€¢ Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach. â€¢ Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds. â€¢ Continuous repetitive motions. â€¢ Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
