We are actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Weekend Baylor position in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) specializing in long-term care, behavioral health, and high-acuity residents. This role is designed for experienced nurses seeking full-time pay with a condensed schedule.

This is a fast-paced, high-accountability nursing role requiring strong clinical skills, leadership ability, and confidence in managing challenging resident behaviors, dementia-related conditions, and complex care needs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care and behavioral health environment
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and update individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Manage behavioral challenges using de-escalation and intervention techniques
• Supervise CNAs and nursing staff during assigned shifts
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Respond to emergency and crisis situations with sound clinical judgment

Work Environment

• High-acuity skilled nursing facility (SNF)
• Residents may present with behavioral health conditions, dementia, or psychiatric comorbidities
• Requires ability to work in a structured, performance-driven environment with direct leadership oversight
• Fast-paced unit with frequent clinical decision-making and prioritization

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or behavioral health preferred
• Strong skills in patient assessment, medication management, and supervision
• Ability to manage difficult behaviors and high-stress situations
• Knowledge of CMS regulations, infection control, and documentation standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Charge Nurse or Nurse Supervisor

• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict management skills
