Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Communications, you will support the team with a range of activities to promote and analyze the performance of ECO Canada’s products and services. This is a great role to develop experience as a marketing generalist in areas such as digital advertising, content and collateral development, email marketing and nurturing campaigns, real-time data analytics and more.


  • Write content for the website, email campaigns, newsletters, blogs and more;
  • Create promotional marketing campaigns and develop collateral;
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns and manage subscriber database;
  • Assist with digital advertising campaigns for paid search and social ad platforms;
  • Social media management - posting, monitoring, and reporting;
  • Support creation of content calendars and communications plans;
  • Support data collection and analysis. Report marketing metrics and key performance indicators (KPI);
  • Website content management;
  • Ad hoc marketing, communications, and administrative support as needed.

Education and Experience

  • 2-5 years of marketing and/or communications experience;
  • Post-secondary education in the field of business, marketing, communications, or a related discipline is an asset;
  • Excellent command of the English language, with strong emphasis on written and verbal communication skills. French is an asset;
  • Experience with email marketing programs (Act-On, Mailchimp etc.);
  • Experience with graphic design programs an asset (Canva, InDesign, Photoshop);
  • Experience with website content management, development, and writing for the web;
  • Experience using social media platforms for business (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and knowledge of content tools (Hootsuite/Buffer/Meltwater);
  • Experience using MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as general computer skills including file management and data entry.


COVID-19 Considerations:

To protect the health and safety of its employees, all ECO Canada employees are required to be double vaccinated or provide proof of negative test result (at their own expense) in order to enter ECO Canada’s office space, participate in indoor meetings with any clients or stakeholders, travel for business purposes, or otherwise represent ECO Canada on an in-person basis. Any request for an exception under Human Rights legislation must be supported by evidence to be considered by ECO Canada on a case-by-case basis.

This role is a full-time position, with a three-month probationary period upon start date, to support a team of 5 marketing and communications professionals.
