YMCA of Bucks County is a charitable, nonprofit organization committed to strengthening our communities through membership and programs that foster youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility for all. The Recruiter supports the Human Resources department with recruitment efforts for staff and volunteers for YMCA of Bucks County. The Recruiter develops and executes recruiter strategies in support of organizational staffing objectives. The Recruiter implements and utilizes effective sourcing strategies to attract highly qualified candidates. The Recruiter will identify candidates, interview, hire, and provide necessary support/metrics regarding all recruiting efforts. This position is based out of our Quakertown Branch. Some remote work possible.

Qualifications:

· High school graduate, advanced degree preferred

· Highly effective listening, oral, and written communication skills, including strong facilitation and analytical skills

· Ability to prioritize and multitask

· Results-driven, with a high sense of urgency, professionalism and discretion

· Organized and strong attention to detail

· Ability to analyze data and provide strategic and tactical recommendations

· Must have the ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive organizational image internally andexternally

· Excellent computer skills

· Sales/Entrepreneurial minded with adequate project management skills

Essential Functions:

· Collaborate with the development and execution of recruiting plans for organizational staff and volunteers

· Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs

· Efficiently and effectively fill open opportunities by posting openings in online venues, professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues in a timely fashion

· Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of needs by networking through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, Universities, social media and current/previous employees

· Conduct regular follow up with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation

· Conduct phone screenings on candidates as a pre-screen to employment

· Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting, as well as utilization of the internet for recruiting purposes

· Regularly assess and reports on the pipeline of candidates for frequently place roles

· Create and maintain recruiting reports addressing other potential recruiting and hiring measurements to include data on cost per hire, time to hire, the impact of a continuous improvement process, and cost control elements

· Work with Human Resources team to develop metrics/strategies that maximize recruitment efforts while providing best-fit candidates

· Respond to urgent recruitment needs while working within HR recruitment budget

· Work with managers to accelerate converting applicants to candidates and candidates to new-hires

· Facilitate the volunteer program for the association

· Work with directors to determine volunteer needs

· Recruit volunteers for programs and special events

· Participate and support ongoing improvements to our Employee Referral program

· Identify and participate in networking activities and industry conferences to build relationships and connect with future talent

· Attend organizational meetings, trainings, and webinars as directed by supervisor

Human Resources Recruiter Physical Requirements:

Must be able to see and use a computer. This work requires the following physical activities; reaching, sitting, lifting finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. The work is performed primarily indoors, and may require travel throughout Bucks County.

Job Type: Part-time (transitioning to Full Time)

Pay: $14.50 per hour *Individual Membership provided to all employees*
