 Job Description

Are you looking for a role where you will truly make a difference and contribute to a growing industry in Canada? ECO Canada is looking for performance-driven individual to join the team immediately. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, the successful candidate will have a passion for the environment and expertise in sales. The successful candidate will be required to be bilingual in English and French.  This role is a remote role with a preference for a candidate located in the province of Quebec.

 As a key member of the sales team, the Sales Representative will be responsible for prospecting new clients, outreach to new and existing clients, help develop resources to fill the marketing funnel, and stay on top of sector trendsWhile each member of ECO Canada has individual responsibilities, ECO takes a team-based approach. Everyone is encouraged to take ownership of his/her ideas and to see them through to completion, collaborating with key influencers as required. 

 Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new environmental B2B clients by researching online to determine their fit with ECO Canada programs. 
  • Manage large amounts of industry contact lists across Canada. 
  • Make calls and emails to potential clients in a professional manner, educating those prospects on the various ECO Canada employer programs and promoting key messaging. 
  • Client lead, responsible for managing the client experience and outreach to the various external stakeholder groups of ECO.
  • Work with the team to ensure all key stakeholders are informed of progress on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Suggest development of collateral that would be of interest for environmental B2B clients.
  • Support ECO Canada webinars by hosting industry relevant employer focused topics.
  • Assist  the training team with execution of in-person events and conferences including tasks such as message syndication and acquiring attendees.
  • Stay on-top of new trends emerging in the environmental sector by researching, subscribing to appropriate newsletters, and reading ECO Canada’s research reports. 

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire to connect with people. 
  • Great attitude and ability to maintain control while coordinating activities and balancing multiple priorities. 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral). 
  • Exceptional telephone and email communication skills. 
  • Superior time management.
  • Is able to be proactive working in a remote environment.
  • Enthusiastic and collaborative attitude. 
  • Comfortable speaking in front of people in person or through online platforms. 
  • Able to put on multiple hats at the same time to accomplish organizational goals. 
  • Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision. 
  • Desire to work in a results-focused environment. 
  • Motivated self-starter with a strong desire to learn and a willingness to adapt to a variety of situations. 
  • Able to measure success metrics and identify trends.  
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Fluency in French is required.

This is a full-time position, with a 90 day probationary period upon start date.
