Job Location: Washington, D.C.

Job Description:

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as a Sr. Acquisition Requirements Analyst.

Provide requirements management and support to EHRM Integration Office by designing and implementing requirements management policies, processes, and tools. Coordinate with Senior Executive Service (SES) clients across various organizations and develop Executive Level briefings/serve as SME during executive-level meetings. Responsible for working with multiple stakeholders (i.e., VA staff, EHR vendor, etc.) to gather, analyze, and validate existing and emerging requirements. Responsible for building and operating a centralized requirements repository, maintaining traceability of requirements across the Program. Develop requirements processes, including governance constructs, as required.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional work experience
  • Major acquisition program requirements experience (large scale, >$1B programs)
  • Demonstrated experience managing Congressional appropriations through acquisition framework
  • Strong written/oral communications, analysis, data gathering and organization skills
  • Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies  
  • Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress
  • Able to identify and mitigate risks
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements

Preferred qualifications:

  • VA and/or DoD IT acquisition and requirements management experience
