Position Summary

The Business Systems Analyst I will report directly to the Chief Information Officer and will be responsible for the maintenance, support, development, reporting, security, monitoring, and tuning of all business applications. The Business Systems Analyst I will work closely with both external vendors and internal business units to support and maintain business applications.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Attends meetings to discuss rollouts of new applications and business processes providing input as it relates to the functionality and usability from a technology standpoint.
  2. Follows proper change management practices as it relates to user administration and client/server-side application updates.
  3. Produces reporting as necessary for various business applications at the request of different business units.
  4. Works closely with external vendors on application implementations to ensure that best practices are followed.
  5. Works closely with internal business units on procedures for repetitive tasks; works to streamline productivity with process automation.
  6. Documents all configuration, processes, and procedures for applications.
  7. Manages bank applications to include user management, patch management, upgrades, and any other maintenance that may be required.
  8. May assist with core bank reporting utilizing IBM Cognos H360 for the creation of new reports and data analytics.
  9. May assist with report schedules and distribution lists of the automated reporting system through IBM Cognos H360.
  10. Adheres to the BSA policy and all other bank policies.
  11. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or another related field.
  • 1-3 years of programming and/or software development experience.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, or other related programming languages.
  • Experience supporting both client and server-side applications.
  • Any knowledge of Salesforce highly desirable.
  • Any knowledge of process automation highly desirable.
  • Experience following change management policies and procedures.
  • Any database and/or SQL knowledge would be an added bonus.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication, documentation, and collaborative skills.
  • Role-specific certifications desirable.
  • Background and credit clearance required.
