The property currently consists of our hotel, a restaurant, kayaking, and several large wedding venues. Summary:

The role of the Restaurant Supervisor is to manage all aspects of the restaurant front-of-the-house (FOH) activities and personnel leading to new reservations and returning reservations while maintaining quality customer service, guest satisfaction, and to assist the restaurant manager as directed.


Responsibilities:

  • Promote and portray the VIVÂMEE Values.
  • Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.
  • Work and be flexible in being scheduled as needed full time.
  • Manage the flow of dining room seating. Have detailed knowledge of seating capacities, station assignments, and storage areas.
  • Confirm and review reservations on an ongoing basis.
  • Train hostesses, servers, runners, and bartenders. Both formally and at pre-shift.
  • Review and monitor/reinforce dining room service standards.
  • Maintain rapport and communicate effectively with other departments and department managers. 
  • Assign and monitor that side work for service staff is being executed, discuss all details with pertinent parties regarding any functions held within the restaurant to ensure efficient and quality service.
  • Prepare purchase orders for essential items such as linens, centerpieces, equipment, etc.
  • Schedule setup, service and supervision of each work shift.
  • Coordinate dinner reservation numbers, menu changes, and service details with the chef.
  • Establish working money bank for working each shift, secure all payments and end of night shift, and prepare night deposits with bank deposit slips.  
  • Has extensive knowledge of menu, daily specials, promo’s offerings, and be able to convey overall knowledge of property events and locations.
  • Must be able to lift at least a minimum of 25 lbs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • (2) two years’ experience minimum in the Restaurant industry.
  • Expected to work on mandatory events and holidays.
