Job Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures safely and accurately
• Properly identify patients and verify specimen requirements
• Label, process, and transport specimens according to facility protocols
• Maintain strict infection control and patient safety standards
• Provide compassionate and professional patient interactions
• Accurately document collections and maintain patient confidentiality
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, and laboratory personnel

Qualifications

✔ Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a:

• Phlebotomist

✔ Strong venipuncture and specimen collection skills

✔ Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Required Credentials

• Varicella (Chickenpox) vaccination record or positive titer
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination record or positive titer
• QuantiFERON Gold or T-SPOT TB test completed within the past year
• Physical examination completed within the past year

Preferred

• National Phlebotomy Certification
• Previous hospital or acute care experience
