Are you a strong kitchen leader who believes great food starts with a great team?

Santiago's Florida Kitchen & Craft Bar is seeking a hands-on PM Kitchen Manager to join our leadership team. This position works closely with our Executive Chef and Food & Beverage leadership to oversee evening kitchen operations, ensure food quality and safety standards, support staff development, and maintain a positive, professional culture.

This is not a position for someone who manages from the office. We are looking for a leader who enjoys being on the line, coaching cooks, solving problems, and leading by example.

What You'll Do

- Lead and supervise evening kitchen operations

- Ensure food quality, consistency, presentation, and execution

- Maintain all food safety and sanitation standards

- Train, coach, and develop line cooks and dish team members

- Assist with inventory control, receiving, and product organization

- Support labor and food cost goals

- Maintain prep levels and production standards for daily service

- Communicate effectively with Front of House and resort departments

- Foster a respectful, professional, team-oriented work environment

- Assist with banquet and special event execution as needed

- Hold team members accountable while treating everyone with dignity and respect

What We're Looking For

- Previous kitchen management or leadership experience

- Strong line cooking skills and ability to work all stations when needed

- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP practices

- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy services

- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Positive attitude and willingness to mentor others

- Dependable, accountable, and solution-oriented mindset

- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
