Inventory Clerk

Frontier Technologies is a well-established company in the St. John’s, NL area having operated there for over 10 years. We are looking for a highly organized, self-motivator with energy, drive and ambition to join our talented team. The successful applicant will have a track record of organization and excellent time management skills.
This position will work to coordinate inventory activities and prioritize effectively to meet the needs of internal stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner. The Inventory Control Clerk will be available to accept inventory deliveries, sign out inventory to our technicians, and sign in inventory when it’s returned. The successful applicant will also be responsible for coordinating returns of equipment/materials, and sometimes be required to pick up materials.
Duties:
- Prepare equipment and materials in advance for technician pickup.
- Ensure all inventory is accurately signed in/out
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Manage inventory by stocking and cataloging products for the business in our inventory management app/database
- Updating Inventory counts and maintaining inventory records
- Report discrepancies in inventory
- Implement loss prevention programs to prevent theft or mishandling of inventory
- Provide accurate and detailed inventory reports as needed
- Ensure orders meet specified deadlines and paperwork from vendors is complete and correct
- Coordinate with multiple technicians’ to ensure they receive their requested materials
- Perform on-going expediting activities to ensure timely arrival of goods
- Investigate and resolve order discrepancies
- Advise the Director of Operations of any persisting issues with suppliers
- Reconcile invoicing and resolve invoice issues
- Assist in the development and execution of cost savings initiatives
- Ensure inventory levels meet the needs of ongoing projects
Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of inventory concepts, practices, and procedures
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory processes will be considered an asset
- Highly organized
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to track multiple ongoing tasks
