Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join our hotel team. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens, towels, and guest laundry items are cleaned, organized, and delivered in a timely manner. This role plays an important part in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, bedding, and uniforms.
• Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report items that need replacement.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels of clean linens for hotel operations.
• Deliver clean linens to designated storage areas and departments.
• Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Follow proper chemical handling procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assist housekeeping with linen distribution and other duties as assigned.
• Respond promptly to guest laundry requests when applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hotel experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Dependable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
