This is a long term position and it requires extensive training. Job hoppers are not suitable for this position.

*Two years of experience in related field in a fine dining restaurant or hotel.
*Able to multitask
*Experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry
*Experience with Aloha Manager and Opentable
*Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
*Experience with Gatherehere is a plus.
*Must have excellent telephone skills
*Great verbal and written communication.
*Excellent typing skills.
*Responsible and honest.
*Ability to work independently.
*Ability to visit businesses and attend events to promote our restaurant.
*Excellent communication and organizational skills
*Cash handling experience
*Work with little or no supervision
*Must be very professional with a positive attitude.
*Knowledge of Austin's market.
*Must have a great personality.
*Availability to work anytime, including nights, weekends and holidays.
*Availability to work overtime when needed.
*Ability to handle pressure and assist managers
*Must be able to work under pressure and have a positive attitude.
*Must enjoy working in the restaurant industry
Some of the duties are but are not limited to:
*Excel reports and spreadsheets
*Write letter and emails in a professional manner.
*Responsible for updating special packages in Aloha Manager.
*Maintain Excel reports and log always up to date
*Prepare group packages ahead of time.
*Prepare and implement a restaurant marketing budget and plan.
*Implement approaches to ensure the restaurant stays ahead in the local market.
*Reply and follow up e-mails daily.
*Respond to customer's complaints.
*Send thank you e-mails to big parties.
*Create and maintain an organized schedule of events, follow ups, meetings, hotel and office visits, etc..
*Be very familiar with our cuisine.
*Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all facilities and services provided within the restaurant
*Communicate marketing strategy to restaurant managers and staff.
*Manage events schedule to ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events.
*Plan and execute marketing events in coordination with restaurant managers.
*Work closely with the marketing department, communicating specials and events that need to be promoted in social media.
*Work closely with the managers, communicating any special reservations that require extra attention.
*Evaluate and implement local restaurant sponsorship activities and related advertising.
*Collect and analyze data to improve marketing programs.
Hours are from Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Some weekends, holidays and evenings may be required. Flexible availability is very important!
