The Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting Operations with a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain constant coverage at front desk

Accept packages and deliver to recipient 

Process electronic return mail and address changes for patients 

Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail

Assist with office supply inventory and ordering

Prepare, setup and cleanup for events 

Provide office and managerial support

Welcome and direct visitors and clients

Prepare desks for new employees

Serves as backup to the Janitor stocking/cleaning bathrooms and kitchen 

Travel to the post office and stores several times per week

Respond to, and resolve, administrative inquiries and questions

Other job-related duties as assigned

 KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Moderate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Effective time management and organizational skills 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Ability to work independently

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Must be able to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds

Emergicon requires satisfactory pre-employment background check and drug screening.
