Inspiration Ministries (IM) is a faith-based provider of services and programming for adults with disabilities located near beautiful Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. IM stands out from other residences because of our warm, loving, family environment and Christ-centered vision. Maintaining a strong Christian witness and humble spirit, the
Healthcare Administrator is a strategic thought-partner and a hands-on,
participative organizational leader that drives organizational change,
optimizes results, builds an engaged and cohesive culture, and is directly
responsible for Inspiration Ministries’ long term care housing programs (CBRF,
RCAC, Supportive Home Care, Independent Living), its clinical support functions
(Nursing Department) as well as non-clinical functional areas (Resident
Services, Transportation, Kitchen/Nutrition Services). The
HA is accountable for ensuring the health, safety, well-being and satisfaction
of residents; staff health, engagement, development and accountability; high occupancy/census
levels; regulatory and budget compliance.

Major Job Responsibilities

- Remain updated on all aspects of ministry programs
- Report activity and measurable outcomes for all
functional areas of responsibility and special projects monthly to the
- Standards of Care – Responsible for
the consistent, high-quality delivery of resident care (per DHS 83).
- Resident Satisfaction – Oversees
annual resident satisfaction survey process and develops and implements
relevant action plans to optimize the resident experience.
- Continuity of Care – Ensures each
individual resident receives the physical, emotional, behavioral,
spiritual support and care they need, partnering with internal
stakeholders and external partners as needed.
- Ensures complete documentation of
all resident charts, care plans, records and files at all times.
- As part of an overall focus on
Quality Assurance, conducts periodic quality checks and
audits to ensure consistency and compliance for all areas under direction.
- Care Conferences – Meets with
residents, members of the care team, advocates, providers, families/guardians
at least once annually, when there is a change in a resident’s condition or
- Individual Service Plans (ISP) – In collaboration with the
Nursing Manager and Manager of Resident Services, creates and updates
comprehensive, customized care plans (on an annual basis or when there is a
change in condition) for residents that are based on their individual
interests, needs, and desires.
- Thrive Plans – In collaboration with the Nursing Supervisor and
Manager of Resident Services as part of the Thrive Planning Committee, creates
resident-centric plans that help each person achieve their goal(s). This
will be accomplished by leveraging, when needed, internal resources (nursing,
dietary, resident life/activities, etc.) and external, clinical, and
non-clinical partnerships (behavioral health partners, therapy service
partners, and more).
- Grievances – Fosters a timely and
effective response to grievances from residents, families and/or staff.
- In collaboration with the Nursing
Supervisor, ensures Inspiration Ministries maintains the standards of nursing
practice within the facility in alignment with national guidelines for nursing
delegation, ensuring that all needed policies and procedures, staff training
processes/schedules, and regular process auditing takes place.
- In collaboration with the
Resident Services Manager, oversees sales and marketing efforts, develops
marketing campaigns as needed, identifies and builds relationships with
key industry stakeholders, peer organizations, managed care organizations,
advocate organizations, day services, schools, churches, etc. in order to develop
and maintain a resident pipeline, and ultimately maintain a high census/level
- In collaboration the Resident
Services Manager and Nursing Supervisor and in alignment with DHS 83, facility
licensing and approved target groups served, the Inspiration Ministries
program statement, House Rules, and applicable policies and procedures, leads
and optimizes the admissions process, making the final admissions decision
based on the Nursing Supervisor’s prospective resident assessment and
evaluation of the Nursing Departments, the health and safety of the individual.
- In alignment with DHS 83, the
Inspiration Ministries program statement, House Rules, and applicable
policies and procedures, leads the discharge and transfer process, making
the final discharge or transfer decision based on the thorough documentation
supporting the transfer or discharge, while complying with managed care
- In collaboration with the Senior Director, Culture and Organizational Optimization:
- Builds an organization-wide sense

Oversight and Leadership
- Provides direct oversight to the Nursing Department, Resident
Services, Kitchen/Nutrition Services, and Transportation.
- Assures that new hire, continuing
education and other organizational training and education requirements are
completed in a timely manner.
- In collaboration with the Human
Resources Manager and Caregiver Coordinator/Preceptor, actively participates in
staff recruitment, onboarding, orientation and
ongoing employee satisfaction and retention initiatives.

- P&L Responsibility - Responsible to design, implement, monitor/analyze and control annual
budget for functional area(s) of responsibility, taking expedient corrective

University, Gateway, Genesis Rehabilitation, Open Arms Free Clinic, etc.

Nursing Supervisor, establishes and maintains relationships with key leadership
at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, the local Health Department and
other key agencies and organizations.

annual budget process, conducts annual apartment rental, meal and other rate
