Senior Scrum Master (TS/SCI with Polygraph)

Yellow Duck Technologies is seeking a cleared Scrum Master to serve as a servant leader and coach for the Agile team, facilitate SAFe implementation and ensure adherence to agreed-upon processes. This position removes impediments, fosters high-performing team dynamics, and drives continuous improvement. The Scrum Master educates the team in Scrum, Extreme Programming, Kanban, and SAFe practices while supporting the team's self-organization and goal achievement.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate all team-level SAFe ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
- Coach team members in Agile and SAFe practices.
- Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
- Foster environment for continuous flow and relentless improvement.
- Support Product Owner in backlog management and refinement.
- Track and report team metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.).
- Escalate unresolved impediments through appropriate channels.
- Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Participate in Scrum Master communities of practice.
- Support Program-level events and coordination.
Requirements:
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.
- 10+ years of Agile team experience with 3+ years as Scrum Master.
- Active Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) certification.
- Strong understanding of SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and XP practices.
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies in classified environments.
- Excellent coaching, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.
- Understanding of DevSecOps practices.
