Perform data entry, processing, retrieval, and analysis of legacy and/or current data regarding threat attacks on armored vehicles, dismounted personnel and/or facilities in support of current and future US Army operations. Analyze threat capabilities, threat weapons, and enemy tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP). Research open-source and classified databases. Perform basic trend and pattern analysis and identify significant intelligence trends. Draft analytic products and assessments. Have experience providing written and oral reports and briefings to DoD and other government agencies. Retrieve and analyze data in order to answer Requests for Information (RFI) from a broad range of customers, using a variety of analytic tools such as MS Excel, Oracle database, MS PowerPoint. Perform daily data entry and processing. Screen data sources and identify significant and relevant information for further processing. Based on multiple sources, analyze and assess details of incidents. Input battle damage data within 72 hours of receipt. Search for and identify additional relevant and critical information from multiple data sources and web searches. Search multiple government classified networks for incident report data. Cross-reference reporting using data retrieval tools such as WebTAS, Pathfinder, M3, and InteLink. Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience with military operations and deployments, armored and tactical vehicles, weapons systems, or EOD desired.
• Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face. Some travel may be required, to include to OCONUS locations. May include moderate outside physical activity associated with participating in training, both receiving and conducting, as well as support to analytical tool development in a weapons/demolitions range environment.
•Familiarity with theater web sites on SIPRNET. Military, EOD/TECHINT, and deployment background or experience with US armored vehicles desired. Experience with event reporting system is a plus.
• Candidate should be able to demonstrate proficiency in deductive analysis, with emphasis on forensic science or investigative experience.
