About the Specialist, Resident Services role: The Specialist, Resident Services will play an integral role in assisting with, assessing and making recommendations regarding the activities that take place on multiple communities. This position will report directly to the Director, Community Services & Programs. In order to be successful in this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Collaborate with the Director, Community Services & Programs to determine plan of action to improve and streamline Resident Service Coordinator processes across the organization.
Serve as the first point of contact for all Resident Services Coordinators solely for Resident Services.
Support the growth of each site’s local partnerships and local programs.
Monitor and partner to improve program compliance.
Assist Director, Community Services & Programs with day to day routine tasks.
Assist with grant writing, gather data and assist with analysis.
Ensure Resident Service Coordinator deliverables are timely and accurate.
Comfortable navigating computer work including social media platforms.
Improve the accountability of Resident Service Coordinators through analysis and report tracking.
Assist with training and mentor Resident Service Coordinators.
Continue to improve partnerships that better suit our residents.
Responsible for evaluating the programs and suggesting ideas for improvement.
Additional duties as needed.
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in event planning, scheduling, social media, partnership outreach and coordination of programs
Minimum of 1+ years of affordable housing, HUD, and/or Project-based Section 8 multi-family properties.
Must be able to complete a satisfactory background check
Ability to work autonomously and enjoys working from a remote location.
Must be willing to travel 25% of the time.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
1+ years’ experience of community service, philanthropy coordination (statewide) or partnership building. (required)
1+ years’ experience in Public Relations, or Social Media, or Branding and Marketing. (required)
1+ years’ process improvement, project management experience and Reporting & Analyst experience. (required)
1+ years volunteer coordination. (preferred)
1+ years administrative experience. (preferred)
Minimum 1 year multi-family property management experience. (preferred)
