Nursing Shift Supervisor

Introduction:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced RN or LPN to join our team and oversee second shift operations at our long term care campus. The Nursing Shift Leader will be responsible for managing and leading a team of employees, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards, providing excellent customer service and ensuring all residents provided with the highest quality of care. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operation of the campus, including managing and leading a team of employees

• Ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards, including oversight of resident care

• Provide excellent customer service, including assisting residents, families and staff with questions and needs and handling complaints and concerns

• Rounding with medical director

• Assist in coordinating staff assignments

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a shift leader or in a leadership role

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to multitask, problem solve and handle a high-volume workload

• Long-term care experience preferred

• Flexibility and willingness to work in whatever nursing capacity is needed to ensure residents have the optimal experience while staying on our campus
