Assistant Director of Crisis Services

KNOWLEDGE/EXP: master’s degree required-LCSW, LPC, RN; Minimum of two years managerial experience in psychiatric admissions setting; Working knowledge of the Texas Administrative Code and Joint Commission requirements regarding mental health crisis services and admissions. Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills also required. Must be able to work in a fast paced and high stress environment.
SUMMARY: Assists the Director of Crisis Services in managing the flow of acute, partial, and Psychiatric Crisis Services admissions totaling approximately 500 encounters per month and ensuring quality of patient/family care. Assists with the collection and reporting of departmental metrics. Responsible for triage and admission of consumers during the hours of 3-11pm.
