Ceremony Coffee is a roaster-retailer with wholesale and retail operations. We have a wholesale line of
business, 7 retail locations and internet mail order. The Bookkeeper is an essential role that will conduct day-
to-day operational accounting functions to keep the company running smoothly. This primarily includes
recording daily sales and payments for all retail locations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. A solid
accounting foundation combined with accuracy and critical thinking skills are essential for success in this role.
This position reports to the Accounting Manager.
Record daily sales and payments
Manage A/P to ensure timely payment taking advantage of discounts & avoiding late fees.
Manage A/R to avoid delinquency, send monthly statements and pursue late pays
Manage and reconcile company credit card accounts
Manage and reconcile credit card merchant accounts
Process inventory transfers between locations
Facilitate month end physical inventory counts and adjustment reconciliations
Assist with month end closings which may include some analysis
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of five years of bookkeeping experience
Associates degree required; higher level of education preferred
Competency with Quickbooks accounting system
Strong skills with Microsoft Excel and experienced with importing & exporting data
Good communicator and comfortable working across organizational departments
